Product Visualisation App For iOS
If you sell products that customers may want to see in its intended environment before buying (e.g. furniture) but sending product samples is logistically difficult, then an app that allows users to select and overlay the image in their device camera can provide a useful solution. An app developer will build a product visualisation app for your business that does just that, and conduct a thorough check to ensure features display and function correctly. We will require your sign off before submitting to the Apple App Store and once live, 3 months of development support is given to ensure your app remains stable and bug free.Learn More
Here’s When Product Visualisation App For iOS Can Help!
When you manufacture products that customers would like to see in the intended environment
When product samples are difficult or expensive to distribute
When brand awareness needs to be increased with an app savvy audience
If your company manufactures products and needs to distribute samples as part of the sales process, then an app could help your potential customers visualise your products in the intended surroundings. This might be particularly useful if you distribute specialist products abroad and want to tap into an increasingly app-savvy market.
Our visualisation app allows you to upload images of your product inventories, which can be selected by the user and displayed in their device camera view. The user can then take a picture to give a rough idea of how your product would look and then share this image with their contacts or social network. Examples of products could be: garage doors, fabric swatches, light fittings, UPVC windows, and house/garden furniture.
This can help reduce the logistics of sending cumbersome product samples and can also boost discovery of your company to potential new customers.
An experienced app project manager will run through a detailed brief to understand your business, products and objectives for your app. We will need to investigate your existing content management system (CMS) and hosting setup to establish if data, such as product images, can be integrated and pushed to the app when installed on a user’s device.
In order for us to deliver this service, you will need:
- An Apple Developer account
- Compatible content management system
- App home screen design and product inventory (.psd format)
- Copy for your app navigation and screen contents
- App Store page content including title, a description of your app and keywords
Our developers will firstly setup the designated CMS to store all the relevant data to be displayed on screen and integrate the necessary web services which will push this data into the app. It will be your responsibility to manage and maintain all the product information in your CMS, however, we can provide this for an additional fee.
The developers will then code your app to the agreed design specifications and test the functionality in a staged environment at each stage of programming.
Once you have also tested you app and given it your approval, we will manage the submission to the Apple App Store. Once submission is completed, Apple will review your app manually and usually gives approval within 2 – 4 weeks. When your app is made live, we will provide 3 months of free development support to ensure your app remains stable and bug free.
